2016 Global Payments Survey Findings

The 2016 Global Payments Survey found that MRC members are more likely to be focused on order conversion and payment success than non-members, as well as support more payment methods on average than non-members. After providing an overview of the survey demographics, this presentation explores the largest markets by eCommerce sales, the types of payment methods supported, the number of payment methods supported by industry, and which sales channels are supported. Authorization rates in North America and Europe are then examined, followed by merchant retry and recovery practices, and merchants' use of 3D Secure. Finally, top priorities related to payments are discussed.
