As a member of the MRC, we encourage you to participate in the MRC Mentor Program. Mentorship is a driving force in propelling the next generation of industry leaders, and the MRC is committed to nurturing the career development of eCommerce fraud, payments, and risk professionals globally.
The program was designed with the following objectives:
- Encourage educational development through knowledge sharing
- Inspire and develop the next generation of leaders
- Grow your career through a mutually beneficial partnership
Who Should Participate?
Everyone! The Mentor Program is open to all members of the MRC regardless of industry experience. If you are looking for guidance or have knowledge to share, the MRC Mentor Program has the personnel and network to help you accomplish your goals.
How the MRC Mentor Program Works
Applicants will complete the Mentor Program Application Form providing background information and qualifications. Mentees are asked to provide development goals and mentors are asked to provide areas of expertise. Please include as much detail as possible so we can pair you with the best possible partner.
Timelines and Structure
Each mentorship will last a duration of six months. The MRC encourages mentors and mentees to meet for one hour every other month during the mentorship. Meetings may be held in person or online, depending on each participant's availability.
Please note, mentors are asked to oversee no more than two mentees per calendar year.
