International Gaming Company Uses Predictive Analytics to Identify Trustworthy Customers
Case Study
iovation is a fraud prevention services company which offers device-based identification and risk evaluation products. A case study is presented where a Finnish gaming company, Paf, reduced their denial rates for good players and set deposit and withdrawal rates for new customers by using trust scores. Trust scores are calculated by examining the trustworthiness of a device at account creation, login, and payment; merchants can in turn use these scores as part to reduce false positive auto-actions as well as avoid unnecessary manual reviews.
